I think I need to clean my cat's litterbox more often.  Stella misses the box occasionally, and Google tells me this means that she is not comfortable with her litterbox, and either it needs deeper litter or it needs to be cleaned more often.

I hate cleaning the litterbox, so I try to get away with doing it as seldom as possible.  But cleaning up cat piss that missed the box is way worse.

Cats do make it clear when they don't like the "service," don't they?

(Cats as quality control and/or customer representatives for hotels, airlines, cruises...aaaiiiiiieeeeeeeeeee!)

(Many, many years ago we made the mistake of not cleaning the litterbox to the satisfaction of the Overcats. So they used...the bathtub. And gave us that look, too.)

(I adore cats in the abstract. Not dealing with them in reality, though.)

We went away for the weekend one time a long time ago, leaving my cat in the house. Something fell on top of her litterbox and she was unable to get into it. So what did she do? She did her business in the bathtub, as close to the drain as she could possibly get. I thought it very intelligent of her. It certainly was a lot easier to clean up that way.

Lily always makes it clear when her litter is not to her satisfaction...by pooping in my closet. *facepalm*
